Summary of 2007 WEEE Directive Studies

In 2006 the European Commission initiated a comprehensive review of the Directive 2002/96 on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment, known as the WEEE Directive.  This review involved two major independent study team efforts led respectively by UN University and Oekopol.  These studies analysed the impact and implementation of the WEEE Directive and potential changes that might be required. The below document is the NERIC analysis of the key points in each study.
